Natalia Muszkat sworn in as Gladstone Regional Councillor

New Gladstone Regional Councillor Natalia Muszkat was today welcomed by her colleagues after taking her official declaration of office during a ceremony in Council chambers.
Councillor Muszkat, who has been a resident in the Gladstone Region for over 12 years, said she is delighted to be joining Gladstone Regional Council and looks forward to getting on with the job.
“Giving back to the community is one of my greatest passions, so it’s an honour to have been selected to continue making my passion a reality,” Cr Muszkat said.
“I look forward to what my journey in Council will bring and I can’t wait to work alongside my fellow Councillors.”
Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said Cr Muszkat is a valuable addition to the Council chambers.
“I am excited for Cr Muszkat to be joining our team and I look forward to working alongside her,” Councillor Burnett said.
“Natalia is an active member of the Gladstone Region community and I have no doubt in her ability to contribute to Council’s strategic direction.”
The declaration of office was officiated as required by Chief Executive Officer Leisa Dowling with Cr Muszkat’s fellow Councillors in attendance.
