The Minister for Planning has approved Amendment C36 to the Benalla Planning Scheme.
The Amendment comes into operation on the date this notice is published in the Government Gazette.
The Amendment is a combined amendment and planning permit application under section 96A of the Planning and Environment Act 1987. The Amendment rezones 5.75 hectares of land within the Benalla township at 72–82 Samaria Road and 60–64 Coster Street, Benalla, from the Industrial 1 Zone (IN1Z) to the General Residential Zone – Schedule 1 (GRZ1) and applies an Environmental Audit Overlay and a new Schedule 1 to the Land Subject to Inundation Overlay (LSIO1).
