Understanding gender equality to help prevent domestic violence

Did you know that gender inequality is one of the key drivers of violence against women?

Council, in collaboration with the Gender Equity Action Sunraysia group (GEAS), is currently surveying residents to gauge the community’s understanding of gender equality.

It’s hoped that by better understanding residents’ views and thoughts on this major contributor to domestic violence it can provide a way forward to prevent violence against women.
