Mayor, Cr Janet Pearce said that next year’s program of events aimed to inspire and delight.

“Arts and culture is so important to the health and wellbeing of our community.

“Each year we try to bring a range of shows to the shire which will appeal to all ages and interests,” Cr Pearce said.

“We appreciated hearing from residents during the recent arts and culture strategy, and we continue to encourage feedback on performances, venues, and ideas for future events.”

Cr Pearce reminded residents Kyneton Town Hall will be closed from January until the end of March for upgrade works.

A new heating and cooling system will be installed, along with upgrades to technical infrastructure.

Due to renovations at Kyneton Town Hall, there will be no program launch event in 2019.

Details for shows on at Kyneton Town Hall until Sunday 30 June 2019 will be published on Council’s website from Monday 3 December.
