Are you ready to make a splash this summer?
Well, as of this Saturday 1 December, you can - the Buninyong Aquatic Centre, Black Hill Aquatic Centre and Brown Hill Aquatic Centre will all open their doors to the community.
The Eureka Aquatic Centre opened its doors for the season on Saturday 3 November and the popular Midlands and Sebastopol Aquatic Play Spaces opened a few days earlier – on Thursday 1 November – to cater for families wanting to enjoy the first taste of warm weather.
The City of Ballarat’s outdoor aquatic centres are not only a cool escape on a hot day, they also provide employment for up to 50 people over the summer, either working in the kiosks or as qualified lifeguards.
