Festive season opening hours and services

Woollahra Council will be open until 3.00pm on Monday 24 December 2018 and closed until 8.00am on Wednesday 2 January 2019.

During this closure period Council’s after-hours call centre and emergency staff will be able to assist with any urgent enquiries.  Please call 9391 7000.

There will be no changes to general waste and recycling and trade waste collection. Council would like to advise that your waste and recycling services will be carried out as normal over the festive season.

Real/organic Christmas trees (ONLY) can be left out next to organics green waste bins for collection on your regular service day.

Special Event Bins must be ordered by 4.30pm on Friday 14 December 2018.  The last delivery will take place on the Wednesday 19 December and the service will recommence from Monday 7 January 2019.

All of Council’s Libraries will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.  Library opening hours will be reduced over the holiday period at all branches. View full details of library opening hours
