Prohibited Burning Period in Place – Dec 1

Shire of Capel 28 Nov 2018

The Prohibited Burning Period for the Shire of Capel starts this Saturday, December 1.

This means that no burning off in the Shire will be permitted from this Saturday until at least 15 March 2019.

Rapidly drying conditions, coupled with high fuel levels caused by above average winter rain, has meant that the risk of bushfire has increased.
