Temporary road closures will be implemented for New Year's Eve. During the event, traffic will not be permitted into the road closure areas.
Council advises that temporary full road closures will be introduced in the following streets from 6pm on 31 December 2018 until 1am on 1 January 2019 for the New Year’s Eve celebrations.
1. Camden Road - west of Catholic Club access roundabout to Hurley Street - full road closure 6pm to 1am. 2. Hurley Street - Camden Road to south of Campbelltown Mall access roundabout - full road closure 6pm to 1am. 3. Hurley Street – Dumeresq Street to Campbelltown Mall access – partial southbound closure 8.30pm to 12.30am 4. Kellicar Road - Narellan Road to Camden Road – full road closure 6pm to 1am.
Access to the Catholic Club will be available via Appin and Camden Roads. Marshals will be positioned at the road closures.
Police will be enforcing Alcohol Free Zones and no alcohol of any kind will be permitted in the festivity area. Council rangers will be enforcing parking restrictions in the surrounding streets and the parking areas.
