The event starts at 2pm and will include live music from DJ Jeremy Tucker, land-based waterslides, free slushies and hamburgers.
Team members from Don’t Drink and Drown will run volleyball in the park while headspace Rockingham will also be in attendance making flower crowns.
Mayor Barry Sammels said the City was delighted to be hosting the event once again in 2019.
“The Youth Beach Party is one of the City’s most popular annual events for young people,” Mayor Sammels said.
“It is a great opportunity for our younger residents to connect, relax and enjoy a day just for them.
“With the Rockingham Beach Foreshore Revitalisation underway, the City decided to head to Bell Park for the event in 2019.”
About 1000 people attended the Youth Beach Party in 2018 and the City will be catering for up to 1500 in 2019.
During the event the City will provide shaded areas to relax, bean bags, free land-based water slides, security, first aid and youth workers to support the young people in attendance.
The City of Rockingham Youth Beach Party is part of the City’s Summer Series of alcohol free and smoke free events.
Young people will be required to have their bags checked on arrival and will need to pick up a wrist band from City staff to join in. The event will be accessible to people with disability.
