Cullen Bullen Sewerage Scheme Preliminary Works Underway

Lithgow City Council has engaged consultancy firm, GHD, to undertake the conceptual design and Environmental Assessment for the Cullen Bullen sewerage scheme. GHD have now begun work on the concept design and will begin field work the week commencing 3 December 2018.
During this time both Council and GHD representatives will be within the area intermittently collecting data to complete the necessary Environmental Assessment and to determine the best solutions required to service the village.
The concept design will provide proposed alignments for the reticulation network and preferential treatment systems to be used in the area. Council will be in a position to present the concept design to a Public Meeting of the residents of Cullen Bullen in January 2019, date to be determined.
This project is part funded by the NSW Government under the Restart NSW Resources for Regions program.
