Council has recognised some of its long-serving staff at an awards ceremony held this week.
The annual Staff Service Awards are part of Council’s commitment to recognising staff for their outstanding service and achievements.
Mayor Cr George Brticevic, said the awards recognised the dedication and ongoing service of Council’s long-term staff to the organisation and the community.
“Their longevity of service is a great accomplishment and a testament to the positive culture at Council as well as the wonderful camaraderie that exists between staff,” Cr Brticevic said.
“It is important that they know that their efforts throughout the years are appreciated by their colleagues, Councillors and residents across our city.
Council employs 950 people with approximately 50 per cent who live in the Campbelltown City Local Government Area.
This year Council recognised 70 staff, including: -
25 people who have worked for Council for more than 10 years; 26 people who have worked for Council for 15 years; 10 people who have been at the Council for 20 years; and nine who have dedicated 30 years to working for Council.“I congratulate all our long serving staff on reaching these significant career milestones.”
