‘Tis the season to be jolly!

The upgrade of Bressington Park is almost complete! In celebration of this milestone, the much loved Strathfield Christmas Carols will be hosted at the park, following an official opening, on Saturday 8 December 2018!

Bressington Park has recently undergone extensive renovations featuring new playing fields, playgrounds, a cycle way and a new amenities block. The official opening will begin at 2pm, with Christmas Carols kicking off from 6pm.

The action-packed event will include a family picnic, community singing and dance performances, food stalls, children’s entertainment including a stage show by Captain Barnacles from Octonauts, face painting, a petting farm, ice skating rink, jumping castle and a visit from Santa Claus!

Highlighting the event will be all-time Christmas favourites including Strathfield Symphony Orchestra and the local music group from St Martha’s Primary School, as well as dance troupes taking the stage with festive-themed performances.

A special Movies in the Park Christmas screening of Elf (PG) and spectacular fireworks display will conclude the night, delighting families and children with a memorable Christmas experience.

Carols to commence at 6pm

Elf screening to start at 8pm

Fireworks display at approximately 9.45pm
