Pacific Highway Action
The Bypass Impact Working Group is designing a campaign to persuade State and Federal governments that tunnels are necessary to deliver an acceptable bypass for the Coffs Harbour community.
Tunnels are essential to mitigate the noise, visual and environmental impacts of the bypass.
The group are not focused on changing the highway corridor, but on insuring that Coffs Harbour gets the bypass that it deserves.
Save Our Recycling
Last week Council endorsed the Local Government NSW Save Our Recycling campaign which aims to create a more sustainable waste future for the Coffs Harbour LGA and wider NSW community.
The campaign aims to realise the reinvestment of 100% of the waste levy collected by the NSW Government each year into waste minimisation, recycling and resource recovery.
Reinvestment of the levy has the potential to create economic growth, new infrastructure, new technology and new jobs, particularly in regional areas such as ours.

Coffs Coast Carols
Coffs Harbour businesses and volunteers are once again coming together to host the Coffs Coast Carols at Brelsford Park on Saturday December 15, from 6.00pm.
Last year’s event was spectacular with over 6000 people attending. The generous support of C.ex Group, the Coffs City Centre Masterplan Committee and many local businesses means that this is a free community event.
The Carols will be a spectacular evening full of song, entertainment, food the arrival of Santa and of course the grand finale – the fireworks!
Hope to see you there in full voice!
