Community clubs and groups as well as local service providers now have a solution to help get the word out and attract new members via a free, detailed listing on a new community directory and diary at www.mycoffsconnect.com
The new community directory and diary is a free service provided by Coffs Harbour City Council where locals can find out what’s on or how to access services and also how to join a club or group.
Sawtell Junior Cricket Club is one local club already taking advantage of the new online community resource.
Club president Chris Neal said that the platform was a great opportunity to let the community know about the club.
“It’s a fantastic way to recruit new members. We think it’s great for local clubs and groups to have this platform available to them,” he said. “The new online directory and diary connects the community across a diverse range of clubs, services and events and that’s a good thing for everyone.”
The community directory creates a single source of information about clubs, groups, services and events. It is intended to help organisations in our area to thrive well into the future, while also helping those new to the area, and more longstanding residents, to connect.
It is quick and easy for community clubs, groups and services to create a listing by simply heading to www.mycoffsconnect.com and registering for a login.
