Get into the holiday spirit with an outdoor showing of the Christmas classic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, this Saturday 8 December at Berkeley Community Park.

This year, the Berkeley Christmas Carols will kick off the event with performances from local schools and community groups keeping you entertained up until the movie starts on dark. Gates open at 5pm and the film will screen from sunset (8pm), with food and drinks available to purchase onsite.

Based on Dr. Seuss’ book, How the Grinch Stole Christmas is set on the night before Christmas as a green, revenge-seeking outsider plans to ruin the Christmas holiday for the joyful town of Whoville. It’s up to Cindy Lou Who to teach the Grinch the meaning of Christmas before it’s too late.

The screening of How the Grinch Stole Christmas at Berkeley Community Park is presented in partnership with CareSouth.

Headphones and/or hearing loops are available for use for people with hearing impairments and can be booked via the Events Team on (02) 4227 7111. This is an alcohol-free event.
