Community to celebrate festive season at Mayor’s Carols

Gladstone Region residents will come together for a night of Christmas festivities when the 2018 Santos GLNG Mayor’s Carols presented by 4CC, is hosted by the Gladstone Ports Corporation on Friday 7 December, 2018.

A night to sing, dance and be merry, Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said the event gets bigger and better each year.

“The Mayor’s Carols is a long-standing tradition within the community,” Councillor Burnett said.

“Seeing our community come together to celebrate is what the festive season is all about.

“We have a region bursting with talent, so this is a great event to highlight that.

“I can’t wait for everyone to see what we have in store for the night, and I warmly invite everyone to come along.”

Santa Claus won’t be the only special guest for the night, with Australian singer, actor, producer and TV personality Mark Holden making an appearance.

• Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and/or *picnic blankets.

• Alcohol and/or pets are not permitted.

• Navy Cadets will be collecting a gold coin donation for parking.

*Please note: There will be no designated picnic blanket area.
