Operating hours over the Christmas and New Year period

Council’s Civic Centre, Campbelltown Arts Centre and some services will be closed after Friday 21 December 2018 for the Christmas / New Year period, and will reopen on Wednesday 2 January 2019.

Non-urgent neighbourhood or property issues can be reported online. Emergency calls relating to Council's buildings, obscene graffiti, drains, footpaths, parks, reserves, roads and animal control should be directed to Council's 24 hour telephone services on 02 4645 4000.

Your bins will still be collected on your usual collection day. Due to high demand the number of kerbside clean up services are capped during this period so please book early online or by calling 02 4645 4000. Don't forget about our Free Recyclables Drop Off Day on Saturday 5 January from 8am-3pm at Leumeah Station Car Park to help you dispose of your extra festive season recyclables!

Campbelltown Local Planning Panel meeting arrangements

The next Local Planning Panel meeting will be held on Wednesday 19 December 2018 at 3.00pm.

Have your say Exhibition of a Development Control Plan – Caledonia Precinct, Ingleburn

Council at its meeting on 11 September 2018, resolved to publicly exhibit an amendment to the Campbelltown Sustainable City Development Control Plan. The objective of the proposed amendment is to insert local development guidelines to support the orderly development of the Caledonia Precinct, Ingleburn.

A copy of the proposed amendment and supporting information will be on public exhibition from Wednesday 14 November until Wednesday 12 December 2018 on Council’s website and at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours; at Campbelltown HJ Daley Library, corner Hurley Street and Camden Road; and Greg Percival Library, Cnr Oxford and Cumberland Rds, Ingleburn.

Temporary changes to the notification of Development Applications and Certificates

Temporary changes to the above is required during the festive season to ensure there is sufficient time for interested public to review and comment on development applications, while not causing unnecessary delays in the process for applicants.

Applications received on or after 3 December 2018 will be notified through to 28 January 2019. Applications received from 14 January 2019 will be notified in accordance with Council’s standard notification policy.

No public exhibitions will be commenced until 14 January 2019 except as determined by resolution of Council or directed by the General Manager. This may lead to an increase in the processing time of some applications by 2-6 weeks and proponents are being advised of this at the time of lodgement.

Development Proposal 1 Reddall Street, Campbelltown
