Kingston Council looks forward to helping the Victorian Government to deliver upon the hundreds of millions of dollars in commitments made across the City of Kingston, in the lead up to the state election.

Mayor Georgina Oxley said that she welcomes the significant commitments made to Kingston’s roads, parks and sporting facilities, and looks forward to seeing many of these projects get started.

“The largest commitments made in Kingston include the investment in a 355-hectare Chain of Parks which will link Warrigal Road in Moorabbin to Braeside Park in Dingley Village, along with more than $400 million towards Mordialloc Freeway works,” said Cr Oxley.

The project will also include a shared user-path along the entire length of the 9-kilometre freeway, offering a safer route for cyclists and pedestrians,” said Cr Oxley.
