Changes to bus services in Southern Tasmania

The Department of State Growth, Transport Division advises that bus routes and timetables are changing in Southern Tasmania as a result of the bus network review undertaken as part of Project 2018.

The review process was centred on providing an improved public transport network that provides better access to employment, education and services and improves the overall social connectivity of Tasmanians within the budgetary constraints of the government. One of the key outputs of the review is increasing services to major towns outside of Hobart.

Changes to New Norfolk to Hobart routes and timetables have been outlined below and new timetables will be available online in early 2019. 

These changes come into effect on 20 January 2019.
