Youth space makeover

The 360 Boroondara Youth Resource Centre is currently being upgraded to better meet the needs of young people. Programs and services will continue to run with some minor changes:

From 11 December 2018 until May 2019, the drop in space will be located at ‘The Basement’ of Hawthorn Arts Centre. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 3pm to 5.30pm; and 10am to 6pm during the January 2019 school holidays. The band rehearsal space will be temporarily closed during the renovation. Counselling will continue to be offered on site and youth staff will continue to be located at the Hawthorn Arts Centre.

The existing space features a study space, computers, pool table, couches and Wii and Xbox gaming. The upgrade will add even more, with a more comfortable hang out space with phone charging stations, bigger book collection and table tennis.

The youth centre will reopen in May 2019.
