Council opening hours for the 2018/19 holiday season

Northern Beaches Council wishes everyone a happy and safe festive season! 

We look forward to seeing you at any of our facilities during the holiday period, whether it be a library or a swimming pool for example, and would like to take this opportunity to remind you of our modified opening hours.

All four customer service centres will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

Our online customer service portal will be operating as usual. For emergencies or to speak with someone call our 24 hour phone service on 1300 434 434.

All Northern Beaches Council Library branches will be closed from Monday 24 December to Wednesday 26 December.

All branches will continue to be closed except Dee Why, Mona Vale and Warringah Mall Library on which will open 10am-3pm on Thursday 27, Friday 28 and Saturday 29 and from 2-5pm on Sunday 30 December.

All branches will be closed on Monday 31 December to Tuesday 1 January. Normal opening hours will resume from Wednesday 2 January 2019.

Return chutes will be available at all branches.

View the opening hours for Warringah Aquatic Centre and Manly Andrew 'Boy Charlton' Aquatic Centre.

The theatre will be closed from and including 22 December 2018 and will re-open on 2 January 2019.

Council’s beaches will be patrolled from 9am to 5pm (as normal) and some for a longer period until 7pm. They are patrolled by a combination of Council lifeguards and volunteer surf lifesavers. Find out more 

The Hop, Skip & Jump service will not operate on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day, but will operate on a normal timetable all other days.
