The Shire of Donnybrook Balingup have an exciting backfill opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Co-Ordinator/Officer to join our team.
About the Role: Reporting directly to the CEO, the HR Co-Ordinator-Officer will develop a workforce plan and HR manual. Co-ordinate staff recruitment and selection, on-boarding, staff performance reviews, staff training and development, Enterprise Bargaining process and worker’s compensation claims and programs.
The position is offered under a fixed term 12-month contract. A competitive Salary, up to $82,000pa negotiable, up to 12.5% Superannuation, a free membership to our Recreation Centre and negotiable flexible work hours.
About You: You will be well-rounded in all aspects of HR including recruitment, on-boarding, disciplinary matters, performance management and training. You demonstrate an understanding of the employment legislation and policies governing Local Government and you have highly developed interpersonal, communication and listening skills.
