Council wishes you a safe and happy holiday season and a prosperous New Year. The following changes to normal operating hours apply during the holiday period.
Service and administration centresThe following service and administration centres will be closed from 12.30pm on Friday 21 December and will re-open on Wednesday 2 January:

Garbage, recycling and green bin collectionIf your collection falls on Christmas Day, your bins will be emptied on Boxing Day, Wednesday 26 December. If your collection falls on New Year’s Day, your collection will be on Wednesday 2 January.

Visitor information centresKyneton and Woodend Visitor Information Centres will be closed on Christmas Day, Tuesday 25 December.
ReservesHanging Rock Reserve will be closed Christmas Day, Tuesday 25 December.
Community services Maternal and child health services (MCH)All MCH centres will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
The following MCH services will be operating on Thursday 27 December and Friday 28 December, 9–4pm:
Manna Gum Family and Children’s Centre, 71 Robertson Street, Gisborne Kyneton MCH Centre, 3 Hutton Street, Kyneton Woodend MCH Centre, 49 Forest Street, Woodend Romsey MCH Centre, 96 Main Street, RomseyAll MCH centres will resume normal operating hours from Wednesday 2 January.
Please contact your GP or local hospital for any concerns during this time.
The 24-hour Maternal & Child Health Line is 13 22 29.
Community supportThe Commonwealth Home Support Program will provide by prior arrangement only personal care and respite services during the Christmas and New Year period. Home care or transport will not be provided. Meals will not be delivered on Monday 24, Wednesday 26 or Monday 31 December. There will be replacement deliveries if these are your usual delivery days.
Normal services will resume on Wednesday 2 January.
LibrariesKyneton and Gisborne libraries will be closed from 5.30pm on Friday 21 December and will re-open on Thursday 27 December.
Kyneton and Gisborne libraries will be closed on Tuesday 1 January. Romsey and Woodend libraries will be closed from 5pm on Friday 21 December and will re-open on Wednesday 2 January.
All libraries will resume normal hours on Wednesday 2 January.
