Council is consulting on changes that would pave the way for a new highway service centre on the outskirts of Nuriootpa.
The Development Plan Amendment (DPA) has been spearheaded by a developer seeking to establish a centre comprising a petrol station, restaurant, convenience store, parking, playground and public amenities on the corner of Sturt Highway and Belvidere Road.
It would introduce a policy area where this kind of development is acceptable in this location.
Council is seeking community feedback until 21 February 2019. Written submissions can be made to:

Please note copies of all submissions will be made available to the public for inspection at the Nuriootpa Council office and on Council’s website from 25 February until the public meeting.
