⚠️ RANGE UPDATE - 10.30AM: Vehicles with a 12 seat capacity are now allowed to travel on the Alexandra Range. Larger coaches, caravans and other heavy vehicles are unable to travel north of the Daintree River due to landslips and fallen trees. This is for the safety of our locals and visitors.

???? Only standard passenger vehicles and commuter buses (12 seats or under) will be allowed on the Daintree Ferry.” ???? Council has put down crushed rock to temporarily fix a washout on Buchanan Creek Rd, Cow Bay. ????Cape Tribulation Rd is open to ONE LANE only. ???? Council has two Backhoes, two excavators, four trucks, one water truck, two traffic control teams and three work crews working on the range. ???? One backhoe, truck and crew are also working down from Wujal on the Bloomfield.

Please take extreme caution while travelling north of the Daintree River today.
