2017 New Year’s Eve celebration at Wollongong Harbour
5000 individual firework shots will be launched over Wollongong Harbour to celebrate the Acorn Lawyers’ New Year’s Eve organised by Wollongong City Council.
2018 is the third consecutive year that Howard & Sons will produce the spectacular firework display that will mark the end of the Wollongong celebrations at 9pm. With years of experience at major events such as the Sydney Royal Easter Show and Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, Wollongong New Year’s Eve celebrations are set to be a night you will remember.
“Wollongong residents and visitors who come along to the event can expect to see some of this year’s newest firework products which have been specifically made for New Year’s Eve,” Wollongong City Lord Mayor Councillor Gordon Bradbery AM said.
“It’s going to be a great night for the whole community, with people coming from across the Illawarra to join in the fun. Make sure you come before 9pm to find a good spot to view the show.”
