It's not just you, we noticed it too! Council would like to reassure Cooktown residents who have been concerned about the colour of their water. This likely happened after Friday night's storm event and is associated with tannin after the catchment flush from the storm. Please rest assured there are no health risks associated with the colour and the water team has been flushing the system to alleviate the issue.
