An equine hoof care expert will hold a workshop in Kyneton in January as part of the horse-related activities and events inspired by the current exhibition Equus.
Horse owners curious about barefoot trimming or concerned about laminitis can attend the workshop and live demonstration by barefoot specialist Rebecca Jacaranda Scott of Go Barefoot on Saturday 12 January.
Ms Scott will discuss transitioning your horse or pony from shoes to barefoot, as well as trimming treatments for laminitis-prone horses.
You can also view the internal structure of a horse leg through display materials at the workshop.
The workshop will be held at Kyneton Museum, 67 Piper Street, and the cost is $5. Normal entry fees for the museum also apply ($5 adults, $3 student/concession, under 5 years free).
