Economic Gardening nurtures small business

Small business owners based in Campbelltown LGA can plant the seeds for success by joining a new Economic Gardening Program offered by Council for the first time in 2019.

The program includes specialised coaching and a series of five workshops that will help identify opportunities for improvement, position themselves for growth and expand beyond the region.

“This is a real opportunity for entrepreneurs to build on their strengths and take their business to the next level and reach more markets outside of our region,’’ said Mayor George Brticevic.

“Small businesses are the back bone of our economy and supporting their development will have a positive impact on our community by bringing more opportunities, employment, goods and services into Campbelltown,” Cr Brticevic said.

The program covers the main areas of customer relationship management, digital strategy and social media, financial management and advanced marketing and innovation.

Places are limited to 40 people and only applicants who can commit to attending all five workshops should apply.

The workshops will be held from March to June 2019.

Interested applicants are invited to submit their Expressions of Interest by 28 February 2019 and successful candidates will be notified in early March 2019.
