A selection of incredible entries from the 2018 Enviroplan Photo Competition have been printed as part of the annual Ipswich Enviroplan Calendar.

Ipswich City Council has printed 4000 copies of the 2019 calendar, and has made the popular publication available free for the community.

Pick up locations are Queens Park Environmental Education Centre, Visitor Information Centre, Ipswich Libraries, Community Offices, the Customer Contact Centre at 143 Brisbane Street, Ipswich and the Council Administration Building at 45 Roderick Street, Ipswich.

Works, Parks and Recreation Acting Chief Operating Officer Bryce Hines said an important part of Ipswich Enviroplan initiative is encouraging greater appreciation of our local natural areas, and inspiring action to protect our environment.

“The annual Enviroplan Photo Competition and calendar not only showcase the best of Ipswich’s environment but also encourages a stronger awareness of the importance of our natural areas,” he said. The calendars are printed on high-quality paper that has 30 per cent recycled content and is certified by internationally-recognised PEFC as being from sustainably managed sources.
