Barramundi (Morris) Creek boat ramp, Giru – Temporary pontoon closure

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) advises the gangway and pontoon located at the Barramundi (Morris’) Creek boat ramp at Giru will be temporarily closed while work is carried out to replace the flood restraint cables.

The works are scheduled for Thursday 20 December and Friday 21 December 2018 (weather permitting).

The contractor will need to restrict access to the gangway and pontoon to ensure the safety of their workers and members of the public.

Access to the boat ramp and floating walkway will remain open while works on the pontoon is underway.
