NYE family party at Cairns Convention Centre

Cairns Regional Council will host a free family New Year's Eve Party on the veranda of the Cairns Convention Centre from 5pm until 6.45pm on Monday 31 December.

Come along for face painting, kids' disco, balloon artist, wizard performance, hoola hoop workshop and roving performerso prior to the Cairns Taipans' clash against the Perth Wildcats.

Plus free rides outside on Little Grafton Street.

Everyone is invited - you don't need to have a game day ticket to join in.

At this stage, fireworks at 9pm and midnight are planned to go ahead, providing conditions on the night render it safe to do so.
