Massive program of exciting holiday adventures for kids aged 6-14 years

The Coastal Environment Centre (CEC) at North Narrabeen has unveiled a massive program of 15 separate exciting outdoor holiday activities over January for kids aged from six to 14-years.

Supervised by qualified educators, the CEC’s Kids on the Coast holiday activity program features everything from kite making, to paper plane design and even boat construction to inspire the budding engineer in your family.

Your young zoologist can join us to go in search of mini-beasts, bugs and bees. Or look for fossils, discover dinosaurs and ancient forests.

Kids on the Coast will provide lots of opportunities for youngsters to get outdoors and have fun with nature and explore, create and learn about their environment.

Whether it’s a day full of earthy arts, crafts, games and adventure trails connecting them to the world around them, or meeting up with experts from Sydney Wildlife to learn the best ways to look after native reptiles – there is something for everyone!

Meet Harley the Water Dragon, Tyson the Blue Tongue and their scaly friends.

Ten-to-fourteen-year-olds will enjoy the CEC’s Bush Survival Day adventure with activities including fire-lighting, spear-throwing, shelter-building and making model boats. A day filled with decision-making, problem-solving and team-work.

Or make awesome Eco Art from natural materials and explore Fisherman’s Beach and Long Reef Headland.

Do you want to learn how to fish? Take part in the CEC’s ever-popular Department of Primary Industries fishing workshops.

The CEC’s Kids on the Coast holiday activity program is an exciting world of healthy, challenging outdoor adventure for every child.

Each activity is $61 per child (except the fishing workshops which are $40 per child). Bookings are essential.
