Lithgow City Council has received the Concept Design Technical Report for the Cullen Bullen Sewerage Scheme.

Lithgow City Council has received the Concept Design Technical Report for the Cullen Bullen Sewerage Scheme. The concept design process is undertaken to provide a preliminary layout for infrastructure and ensure the scheme will have as little impact to residents and property whilst being able to serve the desired purpose.

Whilst a location for the sewerage treatment plant has not been finalised as yet the preliminary reticulation layout has been created for the township which will give residents of Cullen Bullen the opportunity to review and provide comment on the proposed concept design. Some properties within the township have been identified that may require reticulation to be constructed through private property for the system to function efficiently and enable all existing properties to be connected. As Council moves toward finalising the concept design further consultation will be had with those property owners who may be affected.

All residents/property owners in Cullen Bullen should have now received a letter with a concept plan included, if you are a resident/ property owner and have not received this information please contact Council or go to www.haveyoursay.lithgow.com to access the full report. To provide the community further information Council will be a holding a Community Information Session on the 15th of January 2019 at the Cullen Bullen Progress Association Hall starting at 5pm to discuss the progress and gain feedback from the residents on the concept design.
