Packing up corporate life to travel Australia in her caravan, novelist Jenn McLeod will be calling into Gladstone as a part of her regional tour.
Bursting onto the literary scene in 2013 with a four-book Simon & Schuster deal, Jenn penned her fifth novel right here in Central Queensland.
The nomadic novelist will do a reading from her latest novel, “A place to remember”, which is inspired by a 5th-generation farming family and set in Rockhampton.
Acting Gladstone Region Mayor Chris Trevor said Council strives to host a diverse range of authors within the region’s libraries.
“Jenn will talk about her writing career and all of the joys and pitfalls of publishing, as well as answering questions from the audience,” Cr Trevor said.
“I invite all members of the community to come along and support an Aussie author.
“There will be a free morning tea provided also.”
