Fairfield City events for Australia Day

Fairfield City residents can enjoy a number of family friendly events on Australia Day.

Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone said Council’s Australia Day events bring together family members of all ages.

“Australia Day is a chance to celebrate life in Australia, celebrate our City’s diversity and reflect on our achievements and what it means to be part of this great nation.” He said.

“I encourage everyone to come and enjoy the activities and celebrations.”

Events and activities Aquatopia

11am–5.30pm Saturday, 26 January 2019 Prairiewood Leisure Centre, Prairie Vale Road, Prairiewood Cost: $30 family pass

Prairiewood Leisure Centre pool party

10am–4pm Saturday, 26 January 2019 Prairiewood Leisure Centre, Prairie Vale Road, Prairiewood The whole family can take advantage of free entry to the pool while grooving along to the DJ and other activities and entertainment. Children under the age of 16 years require supervision. Cost: free

Fairfield Leisure Centre pool party

Fairfield Youth and Community Centre

10.30am–4pm Saturday, 26 January 2019 Fairfield Youth and Community Centre, Vine Street, Fairfield The Fairfield Youth Centre will be open and free so everyone can enjoy this great facility to rock climb, trampoline and play table tennis and basketball. The Adventure Park and obstacle course is also nearby. Cost: free

Canley Heights Australia Day

9pm Saturday, 26 January 2019 Canley Heights Town Centre Witness a spectacular fireworks display in the town centre with friends and family. Cost: free
