The National Motor Racing Museum has acquired the chassis from Chaz Mostert’s Falcon which crashed during the 2015 qualifier at the Bathurst 1000.
Mostert broke his leg and wrist in the terrifying incident and five marshals were also treated for injuries.
Mayor Graeme Hanger OAM said the museum is a great place to visit these holidays with new items constantly being added to the collection.
“The National Motor Racing Museum celebrates history, personalities and achievement of Mount Panorama and Australian Motor Sports. It not only showcases items from historic wins and accomplishments, it also displays items that represent near misses such as Mostert’s chassis,
“I would like to extend a big thank you to Tickford Racing for donating the chassis.”
