Youth Art Intensive Workshop

The Youth Art Intensive Workshop gives young local artists the opportunity to work under the supervision of a professional artist. Delivered in partnership with Adelaide Central School of Art, students will create two portraits painted in oils. These art works will be exhibited at the City of Burnside Council in April 2019. Students will also have the opportunity to sell their work.

What

The Youth Art Intensive Course is a free two day course for young local artists presented with Adelaide Central School of Art, led by local artist  Andrew Clarke and sponsored by the City of Burnside.

Who

Open to high school students, aged 13-18 years living or studying in the City of Burnside. A maximum of 10 students will be sponsored to attend.

Why

Students will have the opportunity to create two portraits painted in oils under the supervision of a professional artist. Completed art works will be exhibited at the City of Burnside Council throughout the month of April where students will also have the opportunity to sell their works.

How

Students need to apply online and submit photographs of a minimum of 3 examples of previous artworks they have completed. For more information and to apply contact the Community Development Team on 8366 4109 or [email protected].
