Beach Road – Footpath Closure

Burdekin Shire Council advises that Beach Road footpath will be closed to all pedestrians and cyclists from International Road to Brice’s Dental Surgery. The footpath closure is scheduled to commence on Tuesday 15 January 19 and expected to be open by Tuesday 22 January 19, weather and construction conditions permitting.
The footpath closure is to allow for the construction of a new footpath from Beach Road to Clayton Street.
Beach Road will remain open during these works but will be subject to speed restrictions to allow for works to be undertaken safely and efficiently.
Every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum for road users during the construction period. Burdekin Shire Council thanks residents and road users for their patience during these works.
