Council intends to seek Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy consent to the cancellation of Reserve for Park R119 Lot 2 H61664 (RSL Park) situated at 67 Tenth Street, Home Hill.
The Reserve is considered surplus to the Shire’s requirements and may become available for disposal under the State Government’s land disposal policies.
The surplus property may present an opportunity for sale to the public and further development subject to compliance with Council’s IPA Planning Scheme.
Submissions for or against this proposal are requested.
Consultation will assist in determining the extent of the use of the Reserve and degree of opposition to any loss of amenity that the local community may have.
