The City of Ballarat’s New Residents booklet is a friendly guide to our vibrant city to help our new residents quickly and easily settle into the local lifestyle.
It provides information about key City of Ballarat and other community services, such as public transport, education, health services, waste and recycling.
It also includes thousands of dollars’ worth of discount offers from over 200 of our generous local businesses, to assist new residents to settle into their new home.
New residents are eligible to receive a free copy of the booklet within the first three months of moving to Ballarat.
New residents are asked to contact the City of Ballarat customer service team for more information as they can then be provided with other information relevant to their particular needs.
However, the booklets are also promoted via our media channels, by our voucher contributors via promotional posters for their businesses and postcards in hospitality sites.
Flyers about the booklets are also given out to real estate agents to provide to people moving to Ballarat while the booklets are also distributed through the universities and hospitals for new students.
