Check out the amazing Art of Ageing digital exhibition featuring some extraordinary seniors reaping the benefits of leading active and fun-filled lives – connected to their communities. The exhibition celebrates and champions the incredible contribution seniors make - every day - to their families, their communities and the state of New South Wales. Feeling excited? So are we!

The Art of Ageing exhibition in digital format will be shown at Lithgow Library Learning Centre during this year’s NSW Seniors Festival. The exhibition is a NSW Government initiative which aims to challenge people’s views on ageing and the experiences of older people across the state.

A learner driver, gymnast and ukulele player are among the extraordinary seniors who are featured in the exhibition, which celebrates the lives of older people living in regional NSW. The NSW Government commissioned this exhibition to highlight the incredible lives of seniors and promote inclusive communities for all generations.

The Art of Ageing exhibition comprises the work of five photographers from Wagga Wagga, Taree, Molong, Mudgee, and Goulburn. A physical version of the exhibition is also currently on an extended tour across NSW.

The Art of Ageing digital exhibition will be displayed in Lithgow Library Learning Centre from 13 February until 24 February 2019 to coincide with NSW Seniors Festival. Drop into the library during opening hours to view the exhibition.
