Council has resolved to remove six Elm trees located on the corner of Amos, Massie Streets in Cooma. Council resolved to remove the trees on Council land at its Thursday, August 2 Ordinary Council Meeting.

The decision to remove the trees followed a submission from the adjacent landowner that the trees are causing structural damage to an existing building.

Council resolved to share the costs of removing the trees located on the Council’s land and the adjacent landowner’s. The landowner is responsible for removing trees solely on his land. Council will supply traffic management control, provided the trees are removed at the same time.
