Tailem Bend Community Centre Inc

We have been overwhelmed by the response to the Murray Mallee Community Passenger Network in the first two weeks. We are receiving more than 30 calls a day requesting information. In order to provide services for transport disadvantaged in the Coorong District Council, District Council of Karoonda East Murray, and Southern Mallee District Council areas we need volunteer drivers. We are fortunate to have access to Country Health cars based at the hospitals as well as two cars provided by Council’s for the service. All we need now is YOU. Please help us transport people to and from various destinations. If you can’t drive in Adelaide, that’s fine, we have plenty of country roads only trips too. We also welcome companions to travel with elderly clients that may require assistance navigating larger hospitals. Volunteering is very rewarding and being involved in community extremely fulfilling.
