The East Gippsland Shire Council school holiday program at the Bairnsdale Library saw a full house attend a cartooning workshop by author and illustrator Richard Galbraith on Tuesday, January 15.
Richard entertained a large group of parents and children with his interactive workshop of simple cartooning techniques by drawing characters with a range of moods and expressions.
The library school holiday program is in full swing with locals and visitors alike turning out for a range scheduled activities.
Circus skills, craft, Lego, Xbox and board games, movie screenings, the summer reading club, and illustrating have all been popular and many sessions are still to be held.
A family-friendly outdoor movie screening of Christopher Robin (G) will be held on Friday, January 18 at 7pm.
Parents and/or carers are encouraged to join the shire libraries’ email list to receive regular updates on programs and events. Many of the programs fill quickly and bookings are essential.
