Elsternwick Park north playground removal

The Elsternwick Park North playground has been removed in line with actions from the Playground Improvement Plan 2015.

The playground was deemed unsuitable for play, it was enclosed in a small fenced area and located in a close proximity to the road. Inside the fenced zone there were no seats, paths or vegetation.

There are two playgrounds located nearby in Elsternwick Park south at both the northern end and southern end of the park.

Council will soon begin works to renew the playground at Elsternwick Park South near Head Street.

The new playground will be delivered as part of Council’s $10.3 million investment to upgrade every playground in Bayside over 10 years.
