The Shire of Capel advises that the Shire libraries in Capel and Dalyellup will be closed on Saturday 26 January 2019, as well as the public holiday on Monday 28 January 2019, in recognition of Australia Day.
Accordingly, the Shire of Capel Administration Office will be closed on Monday 28 January 2019 and re-open on Tuesday 29 January 2019.
The Shire of Capel is holding its Citizenship Ceremony in recognition of Australia Day on Thursday 24 January 2019. This ceremony will be held in the Council Chambers, Forrest Road, Capel commencing at 3.30pm.
Two Community Rangers will be rostered on between 26 and 28 January 2019 covering 7.00am – 6.00pm and calls to the Rangers can be made to 0417 959 359.
Calls to the Shire on 9727 0222 and after hours’ calls to the Community Rangers will be handled by the Connect Call Centre.
