This week, Mayor Cr Brett Tessari reflects on Christmas and gets excited for the new year, urges all beachgoers to be safe in the water and applauds the amazing efforts of local volunteers who put on another incredible Bass Coast Agricultural Show.

Upgrades to Kilcunda’s iconic Trestle Bridge (Bourne Creek Bridge) originally scheduled during October and November will now commence on 29 January.

Through an online survey, we are seeking community input on potential off-leash beach areas in San Remo, Cape Woolamai, Newhaven and Cowes. Currently, there are no off-leash beach areas in these locations, with the only off-leash beach area on Phillip Island located at Ventnor.
