Ballarat (City) 21 Jan 2019

- Acting Director Environment and Infrastructure Natalie Roberston:

Q. How important is the question of monitoring air quality to the City of Ballarat?

A. Very, it ties directly to the liveability of our communities.

Q.Do you regard the current situation as sufficient?

 A. There is always room for improvement and we would be open to discussing options where it improves outcomes for the community.

Q. Would you like to see a permanent air quality monitoring in the city?

 A. It has been undertaken in the past and is not something we would object to and would be keen to talk with relevant agencies on how this could be done.
