Cassowary Coast Regional Council (CCRC) would like to invite the public to the next round of Connect with your Mayor meetings. The first meeting kicks off at the Mission Beach Markets on Sunday January 6, before rolling out at other community market locations across the region over the coming months. The Connect with your Mayor meetings are hosted by the Mayor and the Division Councillor in that respective area. Cassowary Coast Regional Council Mayor John Kremastos said these meetings play a vital part role in engaging with the community. “Not only is it an excellent time to engage with residents, but we listen to the concerns of residents in an informal and relaxed atmosphere,” said Mayor Kremastos. “This is a serious attempt to discuss local issues that may we may not otherwise be aware of.” For more information regarding the meetings and the schedule, go to the CCRC website.
